Michele Woodruff Lyons is an experienced intellectual property trial attorney and law professor who brings a problem-solving approach to legal issues. Ms. Woodruff Lyons graduated from the University of California, Berkeley, earning a Bachelor of Arts in Physics, and was a student researcher and scientist at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory and Space Sciences Laboratory, before turning her attention to law.

After graduating from Harvard Law School in 2004, Ms. Woodruff Lyons clerked for the Honorable Sharon Prost of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit. She has significant high-level federal government experience as an attorney for the U.S. Department of Justice, the U.S. Department of State, and the U.S. Department of the Interior, and worked as a patent litigation associate for elite multinational law firms.  Ms. Woodruff Lyons also has extensive experience in business law, including as a law professor, with a focus on intellectual property law. While her career path revolves around intellectual property law, Ms. Woodruff Lyons remains very active in the community, serving in board positions and leadership roles on various local education and civic organizations.

At Kramer Alberti, Michele focuses on patent infringement litigation, managing teams of attorneys representing patent owners and inventors enforcing their patented inventions against infringers.
