Why Choose Kramer Alberti for Electronics and Computer Science District Court Litigation?
Our team members hold advanced degrees in Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Computational Informatics, Physics and related disciplines. Many were experienced engineers before practicing law and most team members are admitted to practice law in the United States Patent Office as well as in the U.S. District Courts. Mostly all of our attorneys and technical advisors have deep technical expertise in all disciplines comprising the fabric of modern technology. They are unmatched and provide our clients with a substantial technical advantage over the litigation teams that we litigate against in our clients’ cases.
We have repeatedly served as lead counsel handling cases and trials of all sizes across the country, including in the Eastern and Western Districts of Texas, the Northern and Central Districts of California, and Delaware. We have a strong track record of successfully conducting IPRs in the Patent Office’s PTAB, and arguing appeals before the Federal Circuit. In 2024, our team once again garnered top praise in Patexia’s prestigious annual 2024 Patent Litigation Report, earning high rankings nationally among the best-performing and 25 most active law firms representing plaintiffs in patent litigation. Buoyed by resounding litigation victories for its clients: inventors, technology companies, and prestigious universities such as The University of Michigan, the firm stood out among more than 3,300 law firms handling over 17,000 unique patent cases between July 1, 2018, and June 30, 2023. One of our partners was awarded the prestigious honor selected to California Daily Journal’s List of 2023 Top Plaintiff’s Lawyers, and the firm has been named to U.S. News Best Lawyers 2024 ‘Best Law Firms’ Rankings in Patent Litigation.
We recognize that no two electronics or computer science district court cases are alike. That’s why we take a personalized approach to each client’s situation. We work closely with you to understand your specific intellectual property concerns and business goals, developing a customized strategy designed to achieve the best possible result.
